The Logo Test

Logo Designers Beware: This is the page where I chronicle my experience with every designer, from here on in, that I am buying a logo from. I will be grading the designers on the following criteria:

• Originality - if I find any clip art, stock images, etc. in your concepts, you will automatically receive a failing grade.
• Communication - if I don't hear from you for a week, and you don't let me know how your progress is going, you will automatically receive a failing grade. Keep me posted!
• Cost - value is important. $200 is a lot for a logo, but if you can create something great, then it's worth it.
• Experience - if I enjoy working with you and trust you, you should do well on this part of the test.
• Overall Design - this is where I grade the final design.

I will be including all of the concepts and a basic log of my communications with the designer on this page. We'll see how this goes.

Silent Bytes Design

Date: Dec. 2, 2008. - Jenny Carpenter, of Silent Bytes Design, contacted me this week about creating the logo 'One Word Jesus'. She is a Christian logo designer from Texas. I agreed to pay her $50 USD for this logo. She agreed to unlimited concepts and revisions. Here we go, Jenny. Let's see how you do.
